Info and Registration Fees

Both registration and abstract submission must be done online from our website using the available form, which can be accessed from the link Registration and Abstract Submission. If you have any difficulties, please contact the Secretariat of the Italian Botanical Society (sbi@unifi.it).

Payment must be made at the time of registration using one of the following methods and indicating your name and “120th SBI Congress":

Registration fees

Before May 15, 2025
SBI members who have paid their 2025 membership fee € 280,00
Non-members and SBI members who have not paid their 2025 membership fee € 350,00
Students, PhD students, post-docs, and research fellows who are SBI members and have paid their yearly membership fee € 150,00
Students, PhD students, post-docs, and research fellows who are not SBI members or have not paid their yearly membership fee € 200,00

Registration for one day only for SBI members who have paid their 2025 membership fee € 150,00
Registration for one day only for non-members and SBI members who have not paid their 2025 membership fee € 200,00


After May 15, 2025
SBI Members who have paid their 2025 membership fee € 330,00
Non-members (or SBI Members who have not paid their 2025 membership fee) € 450,00
Students, PhD students, post-docs, and research fellows who are SBI members and have paid their yearly membership fee € 200,00
Students, PhD students, post-docs, and research fellows who are not SBI members or have not paid their yearly membership fee € 250,00

Registration for one day only for SBI members who have paid their 2025 membership fee € 150,00
Registration for one day only for non-members and SBI members who have not paid their 2025 membership fee € 200,00


The registration fee includes all lunches, and coffee breaks. It does not include the social dinner on Sept. 4th.

In case of non-participation, 70% of the pre-paid registration fees will be refunded, but only if the cancellation is made by August 15, and only if the abstract has not been sent.
